SHANGHAI, Sep 22 (SMM) - Today, the prices of silicon continued to rise slightly. The prices of 441# silicon stood at at 20,700-20,900 yuan/mt; 421# silicon 20,900-21,100 yuan//mt; 3303# silicon 20,900-21,100 yuan/mt at Huangpugang Port. Amid the approaching National Day holiday, the mainstream transaction prices of silicon metal increased slightly as downstream restocking and the power rationing. The transactions in the domestic market were acceptable. In terms of exports, overseas demand did not pick up significantly and the domestic silicon prices were high, hence the inquiries were modest amid the wait-and-see sentiment.
