SHANGHAI, Sep 22 (SMM) – The total inventory of HRC across social warehouses and steel makers in China stood at 3.27 million mt as of September 22, down 102,900 mt or 3.06% on the week, a decrease of 11.11% on the year.

The inventory across social warehouses was 2.25 million mt, down 96,000 mt or 4.1% from the previous week, a drop of 20.61% on the year.

The in-plant inventory of steel makers totalled 1.02 million mt, down 6,900 mt or 0.67% on the week, and an increase of 20.76% on the year.
