SHANGHAI, Sep 22 (SMM) - Ferro-silico-manganese imports stood at 5,071.456 mt in August, down 71% MoM and 72.6% YoY; the exports stood at 2,052 mt, up 33.3% MoM. The exports totalled 97,989.276 mt from January to November, a year-on-year increase of 23.2%. The overall exports are more than imports.
In August, China's export of ferro-silico-manganese decreased mainly because Switzerland had less demand amid the energy crisis and high electricity prices.
The main increase in import volume is contributed by India, but the goods are regulated in the bonded area and have not yet flowed into the domestic market.
