SHANGHAI, Sep 7 (SMM) – According to China Customs, China imported 7,184.3 mt of rare earth in August, and 76,676.3 mt from January to August, with the cumulative amount down 6.2% YoY. China also exported 3,673.6 mt of rare earth in August, and exported 33,539.4 mt from January to August, with the year-to-date export amount up 5.7% YoY.
China imported 2.27 million mt of copper ore and concentrates in August. The import amounted to 16.64 million mt in the first eight months of the year, up 9% YoY.
