DashboardDatabaseProReportsEventsCar InsightSHANGHAI, Aug 3 (SMM) - Copper output in Chile's state-owned Codelco fell by 14.3% to 129,900 mt in June, Cochilco said on Tuesday.
In June, the output of Collahuasi, a joint venture of Anglo American and Glencore, dropped by 6.9% year-on-year to 50,200 mt.
Cochilco said that the output of the Escondida copper mine, controlled by Australia BHP Billiton, increased by 23.6% to 102,500 mt.
Due to the poor performance of the state-owned Codelco and private-owned Collahuasi, Chile's total copper output in June dropped by 5% to 453,300 mt.
