SHANGHAI, Jul 25 (SMM) - The prices of cobalt sulphate remained in a downward trajectory last week. Major precursor plants still restocked only as needed while raising the proportion of self-produced raw materials. Smelters who use intermediate products as raw materials still suffered a severe backlog of finished products. Downstream demand hardly improved amid volatile overseas market, forcing major cobalt salt smelters to sell at discounts.
