The Mainstream Transaction Prices of Rare Earth Fell amid Poor Market

The mainstream transaction prices in the praseodymium-neodymium oxide market today fell slightly to 845,000-850,000 yuan/mt, and the mainstream transaction prices in the praseodymium-neodymium alloy market fell to 1.03-1.04 million yuan/mt.

SHANGHAI, July 14 (SMM) - The mainstream transaction prices in the praseodymium-neodymium oxide market today fell slightly to 845,000-850,000 yuan/mt, and the mainstream transaction prices in the praseodymium-neodymium alloy market fell to 1.03-1.04 million yuan/mt. Separation enterprises tended to quote less while metal plants and magnetic material companies were less willing to purchase. Therefore, the retail transactions were few. The prices of middle and heavy rare earth such as dysprosium and terbium dropped slightly.  The mainstream prices of  dysprosium oxide, terbium oxide and gadolinium oxide were 2.34-2.35 million yuan/mt, 13.4-13.6 million yuan/mt and 460,000-465,000 yuan/mt. The inquiries were few amid the wait-and-see sentiment.

The mainstream transaction prices of praseodymium-neodymium oxide market fell to 845,000-850,000 yuan/mt today, and the mainstream transaction prices of praseodymium-neodymium alloy market fell to 1.03-1.04 million yuan/mt. The mainstream transaction prices of dysprosium oxide declined to 2.34-2.35 million yuan/mt today, the mainstream quotation of  dysprosium metal stood at 3.10-3.15 million yuan/mt, and the mainstream transaction prices of DyFe declined to 2.34-2.35 million yuan/mt today. The mainstream transaction prices of terbium oxide fell to 13.4-13.6 million yuan/mt today, and the mainstream transaction prices of terbium metal stabled at 17.4-17.5 million yuan/mt today. The mainstream transaction prices of gadolinium oxide declined to 460,000-465,000 yuan/mt, and the mainstream transaction prices of GdFe fell to 435,000-445,000 yuan/mt,.
