SHANGHAI, Jul 1 (SMM) - Ganfeng Lithium and Tianqi Lithium are the top two lithium resource firms in China.

SHANGHAI, Jul 1 (SMM) - Ganfeng Lithium and Tianqi Lithium are the top two lithium resource firms in China. However, as the lithium carbonate resources of Zijin Mining have exceeded 10 million mt within less than one year since it set foot into this industry, these three companies will dominate the domestic lithium resource supply. Zijin Mining announced on June 29 that it spent 1.799 billion yuan in acquiring 71.13% stake in Houdao Mining, which is the exclusive owner of Xiangyuan Lithium Polymetallic Mine in Dao County, Hunan Province.
