Ningbo Market: Zinc Prices Rebounded Slightly, Downstream Demand Declining

Today, the quotations of major brands such as Tiefeng stood at premiums of 140 yuan/mt.

SHANGHAI, Jun 28 (SMM) -

Spot prices of #0 zinc stood at 23,980-24,030 yuan/mt for mainstream brands, with premiums of 70 yuan/mt against Shanghai prices.

Today, the quotations of major brands such as Tiefeng stood at premiums of 140 yuan/mt. The downstream were less active in procurement and mainly purchased on rigid demand.

Overall, the market transactions were modest today.

In the spot market, Jinchuan nickel was quoted at premiums of 6,500-7,000 yuan/mt as of September 14, averaging at 6,750 yuan/mt, which was down 1,150 yuan/mt from the previous trading day.
