Intel has told Ohio Governor Mike DeWine's office and members of the Ohio congressional delegation that it will indefinitely postpone the groundbreaking ceremony for a planned factory that worth billions of dollars in Ohio.
According to an email, Intel said it was "in part because of uncertainty about the Bipartisan Innovation Act related to chips."
It indicated "the company's frustration with the Congress' uncertainty over legislation to support the U.S. chip industry." The ceremony was scheduled for July 22.
