CISA: China Crude Steel Production Fell 3.5% YoY in May, but Daily Production Increased 0.77% MoM

SHANGHAI, Jun 23 (SMM) - In May, China’s production of crude steel was 96.61 million mt, down 3.5% year-on-year, and the daily output was 3.12 million mt, a month-on-month increase of 0.77%.

SHANGHAI, Jun 23 (SMM) - In May, China’s production of crude steel was 96.61 million mt, down 3.5% year-on-year, and the daily output was 3.12 million mt, a month-on-month increase of 0.77%. From January to May, the cumulative production of crude steel was 435 million mt, down 8.7% year-on-year.
