SHANGHAI, Jun 23 (SMM) - SMM survey showed that copper scrap sellers held onto their cargoes in response to steadily falling copper prices recently, making it more difficult for copper scrap processing enterprises to source raw materials. As the result, the price gap between copper cathode and copper scrap narrowed before showing an inverted curve, namely the prices of the former are lower than those of the latter, which suppressed copper scrap consumption.
