LME Aluminium Inventories Kept Falling and Refreshed the Lowest in 17 Years

SHANGHAI, May 23 (SMM) - According to data released by the London Metal Exchange (LME), since mid-February, LME aluminium inventories have started a relatively smooth road to destocking.

SHANGHAI, May 23 (SMM) - According to data released by the London Metal Exchange (LME), since mid-February, LME aluminium inventories have started a relatively smooth road to destocking. The latest inventory stood at 504,275 mt as of May 20, a new low in 17 years.

SHFE aluminium inventories dropped 0.58% on a weekly basis to 288,801 mt as of May 20, a new low in two and a half-months.

SHANGHAI, Jun 27 (SMM) – The aluminium ingot social inventories across China’s eight major markets totalled 746,000 mt as of June 27, down 4,000 mt from last Thursday and 176,000 mt from the end of May.
