LME Aluminium Inventories Kept Falling and Refreshed the Lowest in 17 Years

SHANGHAI, May 23 (SMM) - According to data released by the London Metal Exchange (LME), since mid-February, LME aluminium inventories have started a relatively smooth road to destocking.

SHANGHAI, May 23 (SMM) - According to data released by the London Metal Exchange (LME), since mid-February, LME aluminium inventories have started a relatively smooth road to destocking. The latest inventory stood at 504,275 mt as of May 20, a new low in 17 years.

SHFE aluminium inventories dropped 0.58% on a weekly basis to 288,801 mt as of May 20, a new low in two and a half-months.
