On May 18, CHN Energy held the opening ceremony (pre-opening) of power projects in 2022.

SHANGHAI, May 19 (SMM) - On May 18, CHN Energy held the opening ceremony (pre-opening) of power projects in 2022, announcing the opening and pre-opening of 11 power projects with a total installed capacity of 12.38 million kilowatts, including onshore new energy bases, offshore wind power, large hydropower, coal-fired power expansion and upgrading, and natural gas power generation. The total investment in 11 projects is 86.1 billion yuan, and it is estimated that the annual power supply will increase by 48.5 billion kWh after completion. The projects are distributed in 10 regions, involving 9 subsidiaries of CHN Energy, of which the installed capacity of clean and renewable energy accounts for about 60%.
