Light Rare Earth Prices Stabilised, New Energy Companies in Yangtze River Delta Region Preparing for Production Resumption

Light rare earth prices stabilised today, while that of middle and heavy rare earths extended the growth.

SHANGHAI, Apr 20 (SMM) - Light rare earth prices stabilised today, while that of middle and heavy rare earths extended the growth.

PrNd oxide prices stood at 850,000-860,000 yuan/mt today, while the prices of alloy were between 1.05-1.07 million yuan/mt, with a few traded at 1.04 million yuan/mt. The prices of neodymium oxide were stable, and inquiries for PrNd products were quiet. The mainstream prices of gadolinium oxide stabilised at around 430,000 yuan/mt following PrNd products.

The mainstream prices of middle and heavy rare earth products have increased to varying degrees, with the mainstream offer of terbium oxide rose to 14.2 million yuan/mt. The mainstream prices of dysprosium oxide climbed to 2.6 million yuan/mt, and that of terbium metal increased to 17.6 million yuan/mt. The mainstream transaction prices of dysprosium metal were 3.45-3.5 million yuan/mt.

It is reported that some new energy industry-related enterprises in the Yangtze River Delta region are now preparing to resume work and production.
