China’s Primary Aluminum Imports Fell by 55.1% year-on-year in March

SHANGHAI, Apr 20 (SMM) - According to data released by the General Administration of Customs of China, China imported about 39,433 mt of primary aluminum in March 2022, including 83.2 mt under HS code 76011010 and 39,349.8 mt under HS code 76011090. Primary aluminum imports in March surged 115% MoM, but fell 55.1% YoY. The import volume totalled 96,551.5 mt in Q1, a year-on-year decrease of 71%.
