Zijin Mining: Wuhou Zijin, a subsidiary, has filed a case for illegal mining.

4.15, Zijin Mining announced that the company's holding subsidiary Wulat Houqi Zijin Mining Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Wuhou Zijin") has been put on file for investigation by the Wulat Houqi Public Security Bureau after the media reported the existence of unlicensed cross-border mining.

Wuhou Zijin, established in 2005, mainly develops the Sanguikou Zinc (lead) Mine in Wulat Houqi, Inner Mongolia, and has a mining license for the southern section of the Sanguikou Zinc (lead) Mine (the mining area is 2.2797 square kilometers, valid from June 6, 2012 to June 6, 2042). The mining permit scale is 10000 tons per day. Have the prospecting warrants of the North Mining Section (obtained in 2005 and continued several times after that, the latest exploration area is 3.9 square kilometers, valid until December 7, 2021, and the exploration and transfer procedures are currently being declared). By the end of 2021, Sanguikou Zinc (lead) Mine retained 1.75 million tons of zinc metal resources, with a grade of 2.38%, and symbiotic lead metal resources of 380000 tons with a grade of 0.54%.

According to our preliminary understanding, the north-south section of Sanguikou Zinc (lead) Mine is the same orebody. Wuhou Zijin declared the mining rights of the integration of the north and south sections in 2012. Due to the low degree of exploration in the north section, only the mining rights in the south section were obtained. Wuhou Zijin carried out supplementary prospecting in the north section in 2012, obtained the resource reserves record certificate in September 2013, and began to declare mining rights many times, because of mining policy and man-made factors. The north section has not obtained the mining right, and the by-product ore has been recovered before 2018, and there are cases of exploration and partial cross-border mining.

At present, Wuhou Zijin has been reported to be suspected of illegal mining, the Wulat Houqi Public Security Bureau has filed a case, and the relevant departments have been involved in the investigation, and the nature and situation of violations need to be confirmed by the relevant departments.
