SMM: Tongling Nonferrous Metals Group reduces costs and increases efficiency by increasing the technical transformation capacity of Jinguan Copper smelter by 80, 000 tons per year

According to SMM, Tongling Nonferrous Metals Group Co., Ltd. Jinguan Copper Branch invested 2 billion yuan to add 80, 000 tons of cathode copper and emergency flasher energy-saving and environmental protection upgrading project for Austria furnace electrolysis. After the completion of the technical transformation, the gold crown emergency flasher refining capacity will be increased from 400000 tons to 480000 tons, and the refining capacity will remain unchanged at 400000 tons; the refining capacity will remain unchanged at 200000 tons, and the refining capacity will be increased from 280000 tons to 330000 tons. After Tongling Group has completed its technical transformation and put into production, the four smelters under Tongling Nonferrous Metals Group will have a rough smelting capacity of 1.33 million tons and refining capacity of 1.73 million tons, accounting for about 15 per cent of the total domestic smelting capacity.
