SHANGHAI, Apr 8 (SMM) - Self pickup prices of Shandong bare bright copper stood at 66,700-66,800 yuan/mt, unchanged from April 7. The shortage of supply became urgent since the Qingming festival.Although the copper prices dropped slightly, the prices of secondary copper were stable. With poor recycling and transport efficiency, downstream scrap using companies need to purchase raw materials through high prices and squeeze profits to maintain production. It is expected that the operating rates of secondary copper rod companies will continue to decline this week.
