Mitsui Metal: plans to increase Zinc production by 5.6% in the first half of fiscal year 23

[Mitsui Metals: plans to increase zinc production by 5.6 per cent in the first half of FY23] Mitsui Metal Mining of Japan plans to increase refined zinc production by 5.6 per cent to 113300 tonnes in the first half of FY23 (April-September) compared with the same period last year, Mitsui Metal said on Friday. The company is the largest zinc smelter in Japan.

Japan's Mitsui metal mining company (Mitsui Mining and Smelting Co Ltd) said Friday that it plans to increase refined zinc output in the first half of fiscal year 2022 to 113300 tons from a year earlier.
