The announcement shows that the main business of national technology covers two major areas: the field of integrated circuits and the field of new energy anode materials. Due to the increase in demand in the downstream market of integrated circuits in 2021, the company's serialized general MCU products were mass produced on a large scale during the reporting period, and achieved large-scale growth; at the same time, benefiting from the rapid development of the lithium battery industry, the company's sales of anode materials increased significantly.

Specifically, in 2021, the sales revenue and gross profit of national technical integrated circuit business and negative material business increased significantly compared with the same period last year. Among them, the company's integrated circuit business income totaled 637 million yuan, an increase of 163.82% over the same period last year; negative material business income totaled 380 million yuan, an increase of 175.31% over the same period last year.

Battery Network noted that the business in the field of national technology new energy anode materials is undertaken by the holding subsidiary Inner Mongolia Snow, which is mainly engaged in the research and development, production and sales of lithium battery anode materials, as well as graphitization processing services. In 2021, the second phase of graphitization construction invested by the company in Inner Mongolia has been officially put into trial production, and the annual production capacity of the two production lines is expected to reach more than 20000 tons at full production, which will enhance the scale effect of the factory in Inner Mongolia. further strengthen the ability of product quality, cost control and stable supply.

In 2021, the sales volume of national technical anode materials was 7691.64 tons, an increase of 82.58 percent over the same period last year, and the output of anode materials was 8179.19 tons, an increase of 245.75 percent over the same period last year. In terms of customers, the company continues to steadily supply Guoxuan Hi-Tech, Tianjin Lishen and other major customers, constantly upgrade technology to meet the needs of existing customers, and actively expand new high-quality large and medium-sized customers in the market while maintaining solid cooperation with existing customers. further optimize product structure.

In addition, in January this year, Posco subscribed for additional registered capital of Inner Mongolia Snow with 141 million yuan in cash and acquired a 15 per cent stake in Inner Mongolia Snow. This cooperation will help Inner Mongolia Snow and Posco to give full play to their respective resources and advantages, and further promote the development of Inner Mongolia Snow in the new energy anode material industry.

On the evening of March 25th, National Technology also announced that Inner Mongolia Snow plans to invest in the "integration project of negative electrode materials for new energy power batteries with an annual output of 100000 tons" in Suizhou City, Hubei Province, with a total investment of about 3 billion yuan and a construction period of five years. Construction is divided into two phases. The first phase of construction is 50,000 tons, with a construction period of about 8 months, and construction will begin within 3 months from the date of delivery of the project land. If there are no special circumstances, the construction of the second phase of the project will be started within one year after the first phase of the project is put into production.

According to the White Paper on the Development of China's anode material Industry (2022) jointly released by EVTank, Ivy Economic Research Institute and China Battery Industry Research Institute, shipments of anode materials in China reached 779000 tons in 2021, an increase of 86.4 percent over the same period last year. In 2021, global shipments of anode materials reached 905000 tons, an increase of 68.2% over the same period last year. Among them, the global proportion of shipments of negative materials by Chinese enterprises increased from 77.7% in 2020 to 86.1% in 2021. In its white paper, EVTank predicts that China's total shipments of anode materials will reach 2.705 million tons and 7.054 million tons respectively by 2025 and 2030, accounting for more than 90 percent of global shipments.

National Technology said in the annual report that in the face of the increasing demand for anode materials from lithium battery enterprises, the company will comprehensively consider the supply chain, customer demand and other factors of scientific planning, and seek suitable opportunities to speed up the implementation of more capacity construction of lithium battery anode materials, and constantly improve the industrial layout of the company's anode materials.

SMM: Analysis and Outlook on the Impact of Global Nickel, Cobalt, and Lithium Price Changes on the Battery Recycling Landscape [Asian Battery Materials Forum]
At the 2026 Asian Battery Materials Cooperation Forum (South Korea) - Battery Raw Materials Value Chain Forum hosted by SMM, Lin Ziya, Senior Analyst of Lithium Battery Recycling at SMM, shared insights on "The Impact of Global Nickel, Cobalt, and Lithium Price Changes on the Battery Recycling Landscape." She noted that SMM expects the share of disassembly recycling in the global nickel, cobalt, and lithium raw material supply system to continue rising. On the lithium supply side, the recycling share is climbing steadily; by 2030, the supply share of spodumene ore is expected to pull back to 51%, brine and lepidolite ore shares will see minor changes, and the disassembly recycling share will rise to 15%, with recycled lithium's supply weighting continuing to expand. In terms of nickel supply, the recycling supply scale is steadily expanding. By 2030, nickel intermediate products will account for 60%, becoming the primary supply source; nickel matte and NPI supply shares will contract somewhat, while the recycling share will edge up to 19%, playing a stable supplementary role in supply. In the cobalt supply sector, the recycling share shows the most prominent growth. By 2030, the supply share of copper-cobalt ore will decline to 45%, nickel-cobalt ore will rise to 29%, and the recycling share will climb sharply to 23%. Among nickel, cobalt, and lithium, cobalt's recycling supply growth ranks first.
