SHANGHAI, Mar 31 (SMM) - The pandemic containment measures in Shanghai have directly affected copper cathode purchases by downstream processing enterprises.

SHANGHAI, Mar 31 (SMM) - The pandemic containment measures in Shanghai have directly affected copper cathode purchases by downstream processing enterprises. SMM survey found that Yixing, Jiangxi province has imposed strict controls on vehicles entering and exiting the region, and the most of the local copper processing enterprises currently have less than one week of raw material inventory. If the transportation is still disrupted by the pandemic, some producers will have to shut down due to a lack of raw materials.
