A few days ago, Guangxi Hualei successfully completed all electrolytic cell overhaul tasks, GP500 Qianan series electrolytic cells for the first time to achieve 300 electrolytic cells full-load online operation. So far, all the electrolytic cells are in good condition.
It is reported that since the first batch of electrolytic cells in Hualei, Guangxi, was powered on in September 2017, some electrolytic cells have been damaged due to design defects, bringing great risks to the safe production of a series of electrolytic cells. With the strong support of Chinalco, in view of the existing problems and referring to the mature experience of other 500 Qianan series electrolytic cells, the enterprise optimized and tested the electrolytic cell overhaul plan with the original design unit and experienced units, and recently successfully completed the overhaul of 190 electrolytic cells.
In terms of quality assurance, the company implements an one-slot management and control system, which realizes the responsibility to people from raw material inspection to tank shell correction and acceptance, roasting start-up and so on.
At the same time, the company has taken many measures to maintain the risk slot and actively apply science and technology. The company formulates the risk tank grade according to red, yellow and blue, sets up a monitoring team, innovates to adopt "nine-step method" such as thermal residual extreme compaction method, and maintains the risk tank 24 hours a day. The company actively promotes the integrated industrial test of aluminum electrolysis energy-saving technology, formulates the "comprehensive lifting scheme of green factory" and strengthens the full graphitization cathode of a series of electrolytic cells to blossom in the production line, which effectively reduces power consumption. Up to now, the number of Class A (excellent) slots that the company runs online has accounted for more than 95% of the total number of slots.
