It is not difficult to produce lead, but it is difficult to be green.

In the last century, the lead smelting process in China was relatively backward and lagged behind the advanced level of the world. How far is the road from "talking about lead color change" to green smelting?

In 2009, Jiang Copper joined hands with Changsha Nonferrous Metallurgical Design and Research Institute to build a project of 200000 tons of annual lead and zinc smelting and comprehensive utilization of resources. The project team will focus on the future of China's lead and zinc smelting industry. It is strongly argued that Kiefset direct lead smelting technology will be introduced for the first time to build a unique lead-zinc combined smelting process in China.

Zhang Lerushi, deputy chief engineer of Changsha Nonferrous Metallurgical Design and Research Institute, is one of the leaders of the project team. As a famous national design master of non-ferrous metals industry, he participated in the whole process of technology introduction, design transformation and engineering construction of Kiefsett direct lead smelting furnace. He was deeply impressed by Jiang Copper's development concept of "think well in advance, think well and do well": "innovative development of lead-zinc combined smelting process. It can fundamentally solve the problem of zinc leaching residue treatment, which does not exist in the whole country! "

In order to promote China's lead and zinc smelting industry to jump to the world-class level, Jiang Copper dared to be the first in the world and became the first domestic enterprise to "eat crabs".

The Kiefsett furnace landed at Hukou, which is a beautiful move made by Jiangtong, which adheres to the core idea of "thinking about today with the future" and devotes itself to the industrial layout of "along the river and along the coast". As a result, Hukou has become the source of the modernization of China's lead and zinc smelting industry.

On March 25, 2012, the Kiefset furnace was put into trial production in the spotlight. The fire that ignited the Kiefset furnace came from Jiang Copper's blazing flash copper smelting furnace.

More than 30 years ago, China's first Otto Kunpu flash copper smelting furnace was born in Jiang Copper. Now China's first Kiefset direct lead smelting furnace starts again with feelings.

The Kiefset furnace is a rectangular body composed of a reaction tower, a rising flue, an electric furnace and a common molten pool, which seems to have a simple structure. in fact, it has a lot of world. the "superb" lies in low threshold of raw materials, low energy consumption, high element recovery, high degree of automation and good environmental protection.

However, the first "crab eating" brings not a show-off, but a huge challenge: new technology has never been involved, new equipment is applied for the first time, and new employees are inexperienced.

Liu Yongkang, the first section chief of the Kiefset furnace, which personally released the first furnace of lead water, in his mind, the Kiefsett furnace was once so high, but it was a mountain that the first generation of Kiefset people had to conquer.

The introduction of foreign advanced technology should not only be able to eat, but also play well, but also benefit early.

More than a dozen veterans of Jiang Copper, who have never been involved in lead and zinc smelting, with a group of recruits fresh out of school, have climbed and conquered difficulties and embarked on a road of digestion, absorption and re-innovation.

In the Kiefset furnace, countless are not pipes and valves, but Zhuge societies and key research meetings. When Jing Xudong, 27, took over as the chief of the Kiefset furnace, he was full of strength: "I am here for it. The Chinese will certainly be able to soar in the sky where Kiefsett directly smelts lead."

Centering on the real combination of the two major smelting systems of lead and zinc, this young team overcame unimaginable difficulties, expended countless painstaking efforts and sweat, and only took three years to break through the technological process and achieve production standards. created six domestic first times, such as low-grade lead smelting in Kefsett furnace, full cold material blowing in fuming furnace, and water atomization production of zinc powder, and thus won the first prize in science and technology of China's non-ferrous metals industry.

When the domestic lead and zinc smelting industry is still struggling to find the solution of comprehensive recovery, slag zero inventory and closed-loop development model, the lead-zinc combined smelting process with Kiefset furnace as the core has blossomed in Jiang Copper.

Ten years sharpen a sword, sharpen the fragrance of plum blossoms.

Since it was put into production on March 25, 2012, China's first Kiefset direct lead smelting furnace has gone through an extraordinary decade.

It opened up all production links in 2013, reached production of lead smelting system in 2014, reached production of zinc smelting system in 2015, turned losses into profits for the first time in 2016, won the advanced unit of "double Civilization Construction" of Jiangxi Copper for the first time in 2017, and won the title of "Jiangxi famous Brand products" in 2018. In 2019, it was ranked 49th among the top 100 enterprises in Jiangxi. In 2020, he was awarded the first batch of compliance enterprises in the lead and zinc industry of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, "the fifth national green factories" and "national high-tech enterprises". In 2021, he was awarded the "eighth Mayor quality Award of Jiujiang City". In 2022, he was selected as the "leader" of energy efficiency in key energy-using industries of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

Here, the Jiang Copper spirit of "concentrating, creating and advancing together" has been incisively and vividly reflected. Up to now, the output of lead and zinc ingots has exceeded 100000 tons / year design capacity, and the total recovery rate of lead and zinc smelting continues to maintain the leading level in the industry. Kiefsett furnace is to achieve a cold repair every four years, Jiang Copper has created a miracle!

In the past ten years, we have successively emerged a "national workers vanguard" collective, a "Jiangxi labor model", and three "Jiangxi technical experts."

During his tenure as executive deputy manager of the three companies, he compiled teaching materials, spread experience and strong management, and built a good image of the Kiefset people thousands of miles away.

In the past decade, Jiangtong has in mind the "great man of the country", promoting green development with technological revolution and promoting equipment advantage with independent innovation. Kiefsett has become a new label of the times for Jiangtong people to "think boldly, forge ahead bravely, and be good at fighting".

Jiang Wei, the current executive deputy section chief of the Kiefsett furnace, pays great attention to passing, helping and carrying. He, who is fond of calligraphy, wrote down an eight-character motto: pass on zinc fire and sharpen the lead line.
