On March 22, 62 major projects started in Deyang City, Sichuan Province in the first quarter. Among them, the Deyang Chuan Fa long python lithium new energy material base project with a total investment of 12 billion yuan is the largest single industrial project since the establishment of the city in Deyang.
The Dragon Python Lithium Power New Energy Project covers an area of 800 mu and will be built in two phases. The first phase is expected to be completed in December 2024 and the second phase is expected to be completed in December 2026. As one of the key projects in the province, the project will make full use of our province's comprehensive advantages in phosphate rock, lithium ore, vanadium titanium magnetite and hydropower to produce new energy material lithium iron phosphate cathode materials, promote the agglomeration and development of the upstream and downstream of the new energy industry chain, and realize strong chain, complementary chain and extended chain. The main construction content of the project is 200,000 tons / year lithium iron phosphate, 200000 tons / year iron phosphate and supporting products project.
Lithium iron phosphate is the downstream product of industrial monoammonium phosphate, the existing phosphorus chemical product of Chuanfa dragon python, and the product involved in this project is an effective extension of the original industry of Chuanfa dragon python, that is, it can make full use of its existing phosphorus resources to further enhance the added value of the products. at the same time, it is also a good beginning for the development of related industries to lithium iron phosphate cathode materials, and will become an important step for Chuanfa dragon python to improve the layout of the industrial chain.
Vike Lithium noted that prior to this, Chuanfa Dragon Python said it was issuing shares to acquire a 100% stake in Tianrui Mining. Tianrui Mining has a designed production capacity of 2.5 million tons per year, possessing 95.97 million tons of resource reserves and 87.419 million tons of retained resources. If Tianrui Mining is successfully acquired, the company will have an annual production capacity of 3.65 million tons of phosphate rock.
Only one day later, on March 23rd, the resumption of major projects in Qinghai Province in 2022 and the 15GWh lithium battery industrial base project in Nanchuan Industrial Park were officially launched.
The lithium battery industry base project covers an area of 21.3ha with a total investment of 4.6 billion yuan to build an annual 15GWh power and energy storage lithium battery production line. The project adopts mature and advanced lithium battery production equipment and automation technology to effectively improve the battery production efficiency and stability, and the output value is expected to reach 7.5 billion yuan after reaching production.
It is reported that the project is of great significance to speed up the cultivation and development of strategic emerging industries in Qinghai Province, build and improve the lithium industry chain, strengthen market promotion and application, and create hundreds of billions of lithium power industry clusters.
According to the person in charge of Xining Economic and technological Development Zone, under the strong leadership of the provincial party committee and provincial government, the GDP of Xining exceeded 150 billion yuan in 2021, an increase of 8.1 percent, and contributed 60 percent to the province's economic growth.
