China Construction Steel Stocks Up 0.4% on Week

SHANGHAI, Mar 24 (SMM) – The total inventory of construction steel across social warehouses and steel makers in China stood at 12.08 million mt as of March 24, up 43,000 mt or 0.4% on the week, and down 3.51 million mt or 22.5% from the same period last lunar year.

The in-plant inventory stood at 3.11 million mt, up 70,800 mt or 2.3% on the week, and down 1.55 million mt or 33.2% on the lunar year.

The inventory across social warehouses was 8.97 million mt, a decrease of 27,900 mt or 0.31% on the week, and a drop of 1.56 million mt or 17.9% on the year.
