China's Tin Ore Imports Rose Sharply in January amid Recovered Supply in Myanmar

According to the data of the General Administration of Customs, P.R. China, China's tin ore imports in January and February were 39,989 mt and 19,755 mt respectively and increased significantly compared with the same period last year.

SHANGHAI, Mar 23 (SMM) - According to the data of the General Administration of Customs, P.R. China, China's tin ore imports in January and February were 39,989 mt and 19,755 mt respectively and increased significantly compared with the same period last year. Last year, the COVID-19 outbreaks hit Myanmar frequently, and the tin ore transportation to China was blocked from time to time. In 2022, the supply in the first two months was considerable. In January, the transportation volume of tin ore in Myanmar reached 36,000 mt, and in February, it was 15,600 mt.
