From January to February, the completion volume and new orders of China's shipbuilding enterprises were slightly revised back compared with the same period last year, and the number of hand-held orders maintained an increase. Focus on monitoring the growth of enterprise benefits.

I. two declines and one increase in the country's three major shipbuilding indicators

From January to February, shipbuilding nationwide completed 6.53 million deadweight tons, down 9.6 percent from the same period last year. Take orders for new ships of 5.65 million deadweight tons, down 17% from the same period last year. At the end of February, orders for hand-held ships were 97.9 million deadweight tons, an increase of 38.8% over the same period last year.

Nationwide, export ships completed 6.06 million deadweight tons, down 8.9 percent from the same period last year; orders for export ships were 5.61 million deadweight tons, up 15.0 percent from the same period last year; and orders for hand-held export ships were 86.94 million deadweight tons at the end of February, an increase of 39.6 percent over the same period last year. Export vessels accounted for 92.8%, 99.3% and 88.8% of the national shipbuilding completion, new orders and hand-held orders, respectively.

II. Focus on monitoring the indicators of enterprises

1. Two decreases and one increase in the three major indicators of shipbuilding enterprises

From January to February, 50 key monitoring shipbuilding enterprises completed 6.44 million deadweight tons, down 10.4 percent from the same period last year. Orders for new ships were 5.36 million deadweight tons, down 21.3% from the same period last year. At the end of February, orders for hand-held ships were 95.16 million deadweight tons, an increase of 37.5% over the same period last year.

From January to February, 50 key monitoring shipbuilders completed export ships of 6.06 million deadweight tons, down 8.3 percent from the same period last year; orders for export ships were 5.31 million deadweight tons, up 8.6 percent from the same period last year; and orders for hand-held export ships were 85.9 million deadweight tons at the end of February, an increase of 40.2 percent over the same period last year. Export ships accounted for 94.1%, 99.1% and 90.3% of the completed, newly received and hand-held orders of key shipbuilding enterprises, respectively.

2. The number of completed ships in ship repair enterprises has decreased.

From January to February, 15 key monitoring ship repair enterprises completed 440 ship repairs, down 13.7% from the same period last year.

3. The production quantity of marine diesel engine is decreasing.

From January to February, seven key manufacturers of marine diesel engines produced a total of 2086 medium, low and high speed diesel engines, down 31.9 percent from the same period last year, and the completed power was 1.604 million kilowatts, down 14.3 percent from the same period last year.

4. the total industrial output value of shipbuilding enterprises increased compared with the same period last year.

From January to February, 75 key monitoring shipbuilding enterprises completed a total industrial output value of 55.9 billion yuan, an increase of 5.7 percent over the same period last year. Of this total, the output value of shipbuilding was 27.1 billion yuan, up 9.3 percent over the same period last year; the output value of supporting ships was 4.78 billion yuan, down 6.8 percent from the same period last year; and the output value of ship repair was 2.42 billion yuan, down 6.2 percent

5. the benefit of shipbuilding enterprises has increased.

From January to February, 75 key monitoring shipping enterprises achieved 40 billion yuan in main business income, an increase of 13.9 percent over the same period last year, and total profits totaled 24 million yuan, turning losses into profits over the same period last year.

III. The international market share of the three major indicators of shipbuilding remains in the lead.

From January to February, China's shipbuilding completion, new orders and hand-held orders accounted for 49.9%, 49.0% and 47.7% of the world market share, respectively.
