China Vows to Crack down on Fabrication of Key Commodity Price Hike, Hoarding, and Price Inflation

SHANGHAI, Mar 7 (MM) - Hu Zucai, deputy director of the National Development and Reform Commission (NDCR), said at a press conference of the State Council Information Office on March 7 that the NDRC will pay closer attention to the supply and demand and price trends of key commodity markets, and strengthen monitoring, analysis, and judgement.

SHANGHAI, Mar 7 (MM) - Hu Zucai, deputy director of the National Development and Reform Commission (NDCR), said at a press conference of the State Council Information Office on March 7 that the NDRC will pay closer attention to the supply and demand and price trends of key commodity markets, and strengthen monitoring, analysis, and judgement. The NDRC will maintain strict market supervision, intensify the monitoring of the futures and spot markets, and severely crack down on illegal activities, such as fabricating and spreading information on price hikes, commodity hoarding, and inflating prices, especially malicious capital speculation.
