On February 28, a major project in Yancheng, Jiangsu Province, was held. Binhai County set up a branch venue at the start site of the Jiangsu Kaijin Lithium Battery anode material Project in the coastal port area of the Yellow Sea New area.
It is reported that Jiangsu Kaijin lithium battery anode material project has a total investment of 6 billion yuan and plans to build an integrated production base and R & D and test center with an annual capacity of 200000 tons. The project is divided into two phases, with an investment of 3 billion yuan in the first phase, mainly for grinding, surface modification, low temperature carbonization and central storage base, which will be put into production in June 2022; the second phase of the project will invest 3 billion yuan, mainly for high temperature carbonization of materials and ultra-high temperature graphitization projects, which are scheduled to start in June 2022 and be completed and put into production in June 2023.
