Data shows that Indonesia exported 6,087 mt of high-grade nickel matte (4,748 mt in metal content) in January. Most of the exports were supplied to Japan, and a small amount flowed into China.

SHANGHAI, Feb 23 (SMM) – Data shows that Indonesia exported 6,087 mt of high-grade nickel matte (4,748 mt in metal content) in January. Most of the exports were supplied to Japan, and a small amount flowed into China.

According to SMM data, the exports of high-grade nickel matte from Indonesia generally stood at 7,500-8,500 mt/month in previous years, which were basically equal to the high-grade nickel matte output of Vale.
