SHANGHAI Feb 10 (SMM) - The followings are the Q&A regarding Huayou Cobalt’s high-grade nickel matte purchase and project.

Q: At the beginning of March 2021, Huayou Cobalt and Tsingshan Group signed a 60,000 mt high-grade nickel matte supply agreement, under which the latter agreed to start supplying high-grade nickel matte to the former from October 2021. How has the agreement proceeded?

What is the progress of Huayou's own Huake (Indonesia) 45,000 mt pyrometallurgy high-grade nickel matte project and whether it can be put into production as scheduled?

A: Huayou Cobalt responded on February 10 that Qingshan has already begun to execute the high-grade nickel matte supply agreement. The construction of Huake Nickel pyrometallurgy high-grade nickel matte project is progressing steadily as planned.
