Korea Zinc Will Postpone Production Increase Plan to Q2 2022 due to License Problems, Putting Pressure on Overseas Zinc Ingot Production

SHANGHAI Feb 10 (SMM) - Due to the construction permit issue, Korea Zinc will postpone the production ramp-up project (up to 300,000 mt/year after the ramp-up) at its zinc smelter from Q4 2021 to Q2 2022.

SHANGHAI Feb 10 (SMM) - Due to the construction permit issue, Korea Zinc will postpone the production ramp-up project (up to 300,000 mt/year after the ramp-up) at its zinc smelter from Q4 2021 to Q2 2022. In 2021, Korea Zinc's overall zinc ingot sales were 636,299 mt. According to its latest financial report, its planned zinc ingot sales in 2022 will be 640,000 mt, basically the same as last year.
