(Tesla's Berlin plant is expected to start production in mid-March at the earliest and is still waiting for final approval.] after several delays, Tesla's Berlin plant will not start production until mid-March at the earliest, because Tesla still has to wait for final approval from the local government, according to Rbb24. According to reports, Tesla repeatedly changed the amount of toxic chemicals that may have been leaked in the accident, which may have affected the progress of the government review. In addition, local government officials have not evaluated Tesla's plan to clean up the waste water. Only after the above procedures are completed can the factory obtain the necessary production license.

After several delays, Tesla's Berlin plant will not start production until mid-March at the earliest, as Tesla still has to wait for final approval from the local government, Brandenburg News Network Rbb24 in Berlin reported.

Tesla had planned to start initial production at the Berlin plant last summer, but the start of production at Tesla's Berlin plant has been significantly delayed due to slow reviews and lawsuits from local environmental groups.

In an earnings call in the third quarter of last year, Zakary Kirkhorn (Zachary Kirkhorn), Tesla's chief financial officer, admitted that neither Berlin nor Texas plants could start production by the end of 2021, although both plants were expected to start operating in early 2022.

In an earnings call for the fourth quarter of 2021 last month, Mr Musk said both plants were waiting for approval from government agencies to start production, but the Texas plant seemed closer to starting production than the Berlin plant.

RBB reported that authorities were still reviewing safety precautions at the plant, but did not cite any sources.

A spokesman for Germany's national environment ministry said: "We do not have a specific date," but he also revealed that it was in the final stages of the approval process.

Elon Musk (Elon Musk), chief executive of Tesla, said on Twitter last month that he would visit the Berlin factory in mid-February.
