On the evening of January 24th, China Science Electric (300035) announced that the company intends to invest 60 million yuan in Anhui Haida New Materials Co., Ltd. through the company's holding subsidiary to hold 60% of its equity. At the same time, the company signed an investment cooperation agreement with Haida New Materials and Wangjiang Economic Development Zone. Haida New Materials plans to invest 510 million yuan to build an "annual production base project of 100000 tons of negative material powder" in the Wangjiang Economic Development area. Build into the company's anode material raw material supply and production and processing base.
China Science and Technology Electric said that in view of the fact that Haida New Materials has signed a petroleum coke supply cooperation agreement with Sinopec Refining and Marketing Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "Refining and Marketing Company"), according to the petroleum coke supply cooperation agreement, the refining and marketing company supplies not less than 150000 tons of petroleum coke to meet its production requirements every year. At the same time, under the guidance of the refining and marketing company, Haida New Materials and Anqing Petrochemical jointly carry out research and development work on the improvement of petroleum coke quality. The refining and marketing company will sell Anqing petrochemical petroleum coke to Haida New Materials in accordance with the principle of high quality and good price. Therefore, the company invests in Haida new materials and through Haida new materials to build a "production base project of 100000 tons of negative material powder per year" in Wangjiang Economic Development area, which can make full use of the Anqing petrochemical industry foundation to ensure the supply of raw materials for lithium battery anode materials such as high-quality petroleum coke needed by the project, and turn it into a raw material supply and production and processing base for the company's negative materials, as well as for ensuring the company's raw material supply. It is of great significance to enhance the comprehensive competitiveness of the company, and there is no case of harming the legitimate interests of the company and other shareholders.
According to Battery Network, Zhongke Electric is one of the earliest companies in the industry to lay out power lithium electrode materials, focusing on the research, development, production and sales of lithium ion battery anode materials for 20 years, and is a leading company in the domestic power battery anode material industry. The main partners include BYD, Ningde Times, China New Airlines, Yiwei Lithium Energy, Honeycomb Energy, Ripu Energy, Xingheng Power supply, ATL, SKI and other well-known lithium battery enterprises at home and abroad.
Not long ago, China Science Electric started the integration project with an annual capacity of 100000 tons of lithium battery anode materials invested and built in Gui'an New area, Guizhou Province. The total investment of the project is 2.5 billion yuan, and the estimated annual output value is not less than 3.5 billion yuan. The construction content includes production workshop, R & D testing laboratory, warehousing, office building, dormitory and other supporting facilities, with a total land area of 600mu, which is divided into two phases. Among them, the first phase of the project covers an area of about 400mu with an investment of 1.7 billion yuan, with an annual design capacity of 65000 tons of lithium battery anode materials with a construction period of no more than 24 months, while the second phase of the project has an annual production capacity of 35000 tons of lithium battery anode materials with an investment of 800 million yuan and a construction period of no more than 18 months. When the project is completed and reaches production, it will promote the demand for more than 1600 new jobs.
According to the latest research report released by Open Source Securities on January 22nd, by the end of 2021, the production capacity of Zhongke Electric anode materials has reached 92000 tons, including 12000 tons in Changsha and 80, 000 tons in Guizhou. The annual effective production capacity in 2021 is about 52,000-60,000 tons. At present, Zhongke Electric is expanding its projects: (1) 50, 000 tons in Changsha, which is expected to be put into production by 2022; (2) 100000 tons in Guizhou, with 65000 tons in the first phase, which is expected to be put into production by the end of 2022, and 35000 tons in the second phase, which is expected to be put into production by the end of 2023; (3) Yunnan 100000 tons (in cooperation with Yiwei Lithium Energy), 50, 000 tons in the first phase is expected to be put into production by the end of 2021, and 50, 000 tons in the second phase is expected to be put into production by the end of 2022. Production capacity is expected to reach 257000 tons by the end of 2022, of which the annual effective capacity is about 13-140000 tons (depending on the matching degree of the supply chain).
In addition, in terms of graphitization capacity, China Science and Technology Electric will supply about 25000 tons in 2021. The company's newly built graphitization capacity (45000 tons) will be put into production in the first quarter of 2022, and the self-supplied graphitization capacity in 2022 is expected to be more than 70, 000 tons. The negative production capacity of the new expansion is mainly an integration project, and the graphitization rate of the company is gradually increasing. At the same time, the shortage of graphitization in the industry is expected to be alleviated.
In addition, according to the performance forecast recently disclosed by China Science and Technology Electric, the company expects to achieve a net profit of 344 million to 393 million attributable to shareholders of listed companies in 2021, an increase of 110% over the same period last year. The company said that the main reason for the performance growth was affected by the global new energy vehicle industry and downstream customer demand growth, the company 2021 lithium battery anode material production and sales increased significantly compared with the same period last year.
