As a subsidiary of Shandong Jinsheng Group, East China Metal City is located in Liguan Town, Lanshan District, Linyi City. it is one of the important waste metal distribution bases in China, and its business scope radiates 11 provinces and cities across the country. it is the largest and highest standard scrap metal recycling market in East China, and it is also one of the trading markets with pricing influence index of recycled non-ferrous metals in China. As the second batch of national "urban mineral" demonstration bases approved by the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Finance and other ministries, East China Metal City has always adhered to the green development concept of "limited resources and unlimited circulation". During the 14th five-year Plan period, we will hold high the banner of circular economy, adhere to the road of green development and high-quality development, and help achieve the dual-carbon goal.

The park has planned eight functional areas, covering the recycling market of waste non-ferrous metals and rare metals, the bulk trading market of waste copper, waste aluminum and waste stainless steel, and the trading market of finished copper, zinc, nickel, tin, gold and silver. One-stop national circular economy industrial park, such as waste mechanical and electrical equipment, waste household electrical appliances disassembly and adjustment market, dangerous waste storage and transportation center and so on.

By 2021:

The area of the centralized trading market for scrap metals has increased from 680 mu to about 1078 mu, the trading volume of scrap non-ferrous metals has increased from 4 million tons in 2018 to more than 6 million tons, and the percentage of regional renewable resources has increased by 84 percent.

The discharge of heavy metal wastewater is zero, and the waste gas is up to the discharge standard; the comprehensive utilization rate of industrial solid waste is 98.5%; and the harmless treatment rate of hazardous waste is 100%.

Establish regional collaborative utilization models of waste copper, waste aluminum and waste lead-acid batteries with eastern copper industry, Henan Shenhuo, Weiqiao Entrepreneurship, Shandong Innovation, Shandong Hongyi, Shandong Zhongqing, Jiangsu Chunxing, Henan Yuguang and other enterprises to realize the integration of regional renewable resources.

By the end of 2021, the park has more than 1000 households and more than 10, 000 daily market traders. Radiation drives the surrounding logistics, catering, handling, labor and other supporting personnel to more than 100000 people, the daily cumulative import and export of all kinds of trucks reached more than 1200. The trading variety covers dozens of varieties, such as scrap copper, scrap aluminum, scrap stainless steel, rare metals, waste mechanical and electrical equipment, and so on, with a cumulative transaction volume of more than 68 billion yuan in the whole year.

II. The next step of development planning

We will thoroughly implement the decisions and arrangements of the CPC Central Committee and Shandong Province on strengthening the construction of ecological civilization, guided by the concept of "harmonious symbiosis between man and nature", take the construction of an intelligent high-end park of "international ecological harmony, industrial digital empowerment, and intensive utilization of renewable resources" as the direction, and promote the construction and operation of "park integration, industrial circulation, technology coordination, operation innovation, and environmental greening". Starting with the "three platforms and five bases", we will carry out the project construction and system function improvement of the East China Metal City step by step, and build a digital green circular economy industrial park with regional mutual benefit and ecological harmony according to local conditions.

Combined with the actual needs of the development of Linyi City, the overall positioning of East China Metal City is as follows: domestic leading ecological circular economy industrial park, international first-class innovative high-tech park, open environmental protection missionary park with the integration of knowledge and practice, and symbiotic leisure cultural experience park.

According to the East China Metal City Development Plan (2021-2025), through the upgrading and transformation of the first phase of the East China Metal City and the overall planning and construction of the second phase, to create a circular economy characteristic industrial park and a national waste non-ferrous metal collection and distribution center integrating bulk trading, popular science education, circular experience, sightseeing and entertainment, leisure and vacation.
