How can the EVOGO of Ningde Times play relative to its peers? Who is expected to enter the industrial chain of domestic A-shares? But for investors, the most concerned is the domestic A-share industry chain, which equipment manufacturers can break into the EVOGO exchange power station industry chain, and in a number of exchange power station concept stocks, Hanchuan Intelligent (688022.SH) response is more "ambiguous".

EVOGO differs from its peers

Ningde era in order to achieve "shared power exchange" and the development of mass production "chocolate exchange block", its technology path is ternary battery, using the latest CTP technology of Ningde era, the weight energy density is more than 160Whhand kg, the volume energy density is more than 325Whhand L, a single battery can provide a range of about 200km, which is suitable for passenger cars and logistics vehicles from A00 class to B class and C class.

According to the needs of different mileage, users are free to choose and combine 1-3 electric blocks. according to another introduction, the "chocolate replacement block" uses wireless BMS technology for the first time, and there is only a high voltage positive and negative interface on the outside of the replacement block, which greatly improves the reliability of plugging and unplugging parts.

Some industry insiders told the Financial Associated Press that from the introduction of "chocolate exchange blocks" in the Ningde era, it can be seen that the company wants to take advantage of its market position and R & D capabilities to unify the sharing of battery standards, but the actual promotion still needs the cooperation of car companies. And learned from the EVOGO press conference, FAW Pentium NAT combination has been matched to change the electricity version.

It is worth noting that due to the differences in power exchange mode and locking structure, the domestic exchange power station brand is still "enclosure is king", and the power exchange models are replaced in the cooperative exchange power station. Therefore, although EVOGO says it can adapt to the models developed by the pure electric platform that is already listed in the world and will be listed in the next three years, it also requires car companies to cooperate with the development of power exchange brackets for "chocolate batteries", rather than sharing them with existing non-cooperative power exchange models.

EVOGO is calling for more power exchange models to join its ecology, saying that in the future, it will choose 10 cities to start the first electricity exchange service, and release more brands of electricity exchange models. In addition to EVOGO, the domestic mainstream exchange power station brands, as well as Olympic New Energy and Weilai, Bertan Technology, Xiexin Energy (002015.SZ) and other companies are looking for a piece of the pie.

Among them, Austrian New Energy has cooperated with more than 30 models, and by December 2021, more than 547 power stations have been built and exchanged, covering 26 cities. Xilai is more focused on building its own ecology, serving only its models, but as of January 18, the 795th Weilai power station has also been online.

On the other hand, the switching time is the main indicator of the user experience of each power station, the data given by EVOGO is about 1 minute for a single power block, Aojin New Energy claims to change electricity for 20 seconds, the whole process is 1 minute, and it is 3 minutes for Ulai.

For the Ningde era to enter the bureau to change the power station, the industry has different opinions. Some people in the industry said that it proved that the power exchange mode was truly recognized by the whole industry. However, the threshold will not be reduced simply because of sufficient resources and capital. Power exchange can develop on a large scale and requires ecological co-investment.

Who is expected to enter the industrial chain of domestic A-shares?

Financial Associated Press combs the domestic A-share exchange power station industry chain, mainly including Hanchuan Intelligent, Shandong 002026.SZ, 300222.SZ, and Xiexin Neng, which is the operator of the exchange power station.

Xiexin Neng Branch has the brand of Xiexin Electric Port Exchange Power Station, and has already run into the racetrack. Its 5 billion yuan fixed increase plan plans to use 3.3 billion yuan of the funds raised for the construction project of new energy vehicle exchange power station. According to Xiexin Neng Branch plan, it will be completed and put into operation no less than 450 exchange power stations in 2022, which belongs to "peers" with EVOGO.

The power station exchange business of Shandong Weida is undertaken by Kunshan Sworth Company, which is controlled by Sun Co., Ltd., and the main customers of the power station exchange business are Lulai Automobile, in addition to Dongfeng Liuqi, Zhejiang Canon and other customers. Previous company research records show that Swarp's existing production capacity can meet more plans of Lulai and other customers.

HKUST Intelligence currently provides replacement power station products to some new energy vehicle mainframe manufacturers, some exchange power station operators and some heavy truck vehicle mainframe manufacturers. According to people close to the company, the business of changing power stations currently accounts for less than 10% of total revenue.

Hanchuan Intelligent's exchange power station products are divided into passenger car charging stations and commercial vehicle charging stations. It is worth mentioning that some investors asked on the interactive platform, "do you participate in the power exchange brand (EVOGO)?" The company did not respond positively, but only replied: "Please follow the press conference of the Ningde era on January 18."

The African Development Bank Group (AfDB) has officially approved a €100 million (approximately $114 million) loan to Gotion Power Morocco, a subsidiary of Gotion High‑Tech, for the construction of the first lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery gigafactory in Africa and the MENA region. As the lead arranger under the “New Architecture for Financing Africa's Development” (NAFAD) initiative, the AfDB also plans to raise up to an additional €141 million from partner financial institutions to ensure sufficient project funding. The project is located in Phase III of the Kenitra Atlantic Free Zone, in the Rabat‑Salé‑Kenitra region of Morocco, and covers the full industrial chain from cathode material production, cell manufacturing, to battery pack assembly. Phase I is planned with an annual capacity of 10 GWh for EV battery cells and packs; with subsequent phased expansions, the total capacity is expected to gradually reach 100 GWh in the long term. Phase I is projected to directly create more than 600 high‑skilled jobs and raise Morocco's local industrial integration rate to 70%, significantly boosting the local supplier ecosystem and technical workforce development. AfDB Vice President Kevin Kariuki noted that battery energy storage is the “missing piece” in Africa's clean energy transition. The plant will primarily operate on renewable energy (wind and solar power), which will not only support large‑scale grid integration of new energy but also provide low‑carbon and reliable energy storage solutions. Leveraging Morocco's abundant phosphate resources and China's advanced battery refining and manufacturing technologies, the project will accelerate the local high‑value‑added conversion of critical minerals, shifting away from the traditional export of raw materials. It will help Morocco establish itself as a green mobility industrial hub serving both Europe and the entire African continent. This investment is highly aligned with the AfDB's four strategic pillars: resilient infrastructure development, accelerated industrialization, regional integration, and value addition to natural resources. It marks a milestone in the improvement of Africa's new energy industrial chain.
