






Recently, Yunhai Metal Co., Ltd. has conducted a multi-agency survey. according to Yunhai Metals, the company uses vertical tanks to smelt magnesium, and all the equipment and processes are independently developed, which has the advantages of low energy consumption, environmental protection, high degree of mechanization, low labor cost and so on.
At present, the medium and large magnesium alloy parts used in automobiles are instrument panel bracket, seat bracket, central control bracket, display bracket and so on. Chongqing Boao, a subsidiary of the company, mainly produces the above products, and the automakers that cooperate directly or indirectly include Volvo, Porsche, BAIC New Energy, Lulai, Xiaopeng, Tesla and so on.
According to Yunhai Metal's Qingyang project, the project is located in Wujia Dolomite Mining area, Youhua Town, Qingyang County, with an annual throughput of 30 million tons and an annual output of 300000 tons of high-performance magnesium-based light alloy, 150000 tons of magnesium alloy die-casting components, and an annual output of 25 million tons of aggregate and machine-made sand. Construction of the project has begun at a ceremony held on December 28, 2021 in Qingyang County Economic Development Zone, Chizhou City, Anhui Province. In view of the current situation that the magnesium market is in short supply, the company will try its best to speed up the progress of the Qingyang project to ensure the stability of magnesium prices as far as possible, so as to ensure the healthy development of the magnesium industry.
The current situation of magnesium alloy forged wheels is "one kilogram off spring and ten kilograms on spring". As a part of the spring, the hub can significantly reduce the fuel consumption of the vehicle by reducing its weight. The use of forged magnesium alloy wheels lighter than aluminum alloy has become a new direction of automobile lightweight, which provides a new solution for automobile weight loss. Under the trend of energy saving and emission reduction, forged magnesium alloy wheels meet the needs of automobile lightweight and environmental protection, and are expected to be widely used. At present, Cadillac CT4-V and CT5-VBlackwing high-performance models use forged magnesium alloy wheels as an option, and the recent Mercedes-Benz pure electric concept car VISIONEQXX will use 20-inch lightweight magnesium alloy forged wheels to further improve lightweight and vibration reduction performance.
In terms of the advantages of magnesium building formwork, the building formwork needs to be carried manually on site, and the requirement of lightweight is high, and magnesium has more advantages in lightweight than other materials, magnesium has good die-casting performance, and magnesium alloy building formwork is formed by die-casting technology. the cost of post-processing is lower than that of the original aluminum alloy extruded profile welding. Magnesium is alkali-resistant and not easy to touch cement, while aluminum is pro-cement, and the cleaning cost of magnesium building formwork is relatively low.
