South Korean media quoted the American Semiconductor Association report as saying that by 2024, the total sales of Chinese semiconductor enterprises will reach 116 billion US dollars, and their market share will rise from 9 percent in 2020 to 17 percent, with an annual compound growth rate of 30 percent. Data show that under the pressure of the external economic environment, China's semiconductor industry continues to grow.

This has caused concern in the United States and South Korea. Unlike the growth of China's semiconductor industry, the market share of the US semiconductor industry, which was about 50% in 2015, will fall below 40% by 2024. At present, a total of 28 semiconductor factories are under construction in China, with an investment of 26 billion US dollars. Chinese semiconductor enterprises cooperate closely with the government to promote the development of the semiconductor industry.
