The first and second phases of the project are both projects with an annual production capacity of 50,000 tons of low-carbon high-end battery aluminum foil, of which the first phase is expected to be put into production in 2023 and the second phase is expected to be put into production in 2025.

Dongyang said that the investment in the low-carbon high-end battery aluminum foil project is to meet the market demand for battery aluminum foil products and further expand the company's lithium battery aluminum foil industry.

The main business of East Sunshine Group includes three major sectors: pharmaceutical sector, health care and electronic technology. With Dongyang selling its pharmaceutical industry, aluminum processing and new materials are the main business sectors of the company at present. This investment in the construction of low-carbon high-end battery aluminum foil project indicates that Dongyang is actively expanding in the field of frequency conversion energy storage, new energy vehicles and other new energy fields.

It is worth noting that in October 2021, Dongyang Guangguang announced that it is proposed to sign the "Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitor Project Cooperation Agreement" with the Management Committee of Dongyang Economic Development Zone of Zhejiang Province on the company's investment in the construction of aluminum electrolytic capacitors and supercapacitors production base in Dongyang Economic Development Zone, with an investment of no more than 2 billion yuan.

In addition, Wanshun Xincai announced on January 8 that the total amount of funds raised by issuing shares to specific targets would not exceed 1.7 billion yuan, which would be used for the annual production of 100000 tons of power and energy storage battery foil projects and supplementary liquidity after deducting the issuance costs. "Click to view details: Wanshun New Materials invested 1.7 billion yuan to seize the power and energy storage battery foil market.

With the rapid development of new energy vehicle industry, power battery aluminum foil has also entered a stage of rapid growth, and the battery foil market is becoming more and more lively with the production expansion of many enterprises.

Fed to Keep Large Banks' Capital Levels Unchanged, Postpones Stress Test Reforms Until 2027
The US Fed has announced that it will maintain the capital levels of large banks unchanged during the upcoming stress test cycle (corresponding to the 2026 cycle). At the same time, the US Fed is planning multidimensional reforms to this annual test, aiming to enhance its transparency. The US Fed's Vice Chair for Supervision, Bowman, revealed that adjustments to the stress capital buffer requirements for large banks will be postponed until 2027. This move is intended to provide the US Fed with sufficient time to evaluate potential flaws that may be exposed in its testing models when assessing banks' financial conditions under simulated economic downturn scenarios.
