Penghui Energy 20GWh battery project officially laid the foundation!

On January 10, the project of Penghui Energy Liuzhou Smart Energy Storage and Power Battery Manufacturing Base was officially laid.

According to the announcement in November last year, the project is located in the northern ecological new area of Liuzhou, Guangxi, with a total planning area of about 550mu and an overall planning capacity of 20GWh. the main layout is lithium battery cell and PACK production line. The project is expected to have a total investment of 6 billion yuan and will become a first-class intelligent manufacturing plant for energy storage and power lithium batteries in China.

Penghui Energy said that the purpose of this investment is to expand the scale of the company's energy storage and power battery business, and to further enhance the company's influence and comprehensive competitiveness in the new energy industry.

According to the data, Penghui Energy is mainly engaged in the production, manufacture and research and development of lithium batteries, with six main businesses: 3C digital batteries, power batteries, light-moving batteries, energy storage batteries, power tool batteries, and automotive aftermarket. At present, there are six modern production bases in Guangzhou, Zhuhai, Henan, Jiangsu, Liuzhou and Fukui in Japan.

In the field of power batteries, Penghui Energy and Shangtong Wuling maintain a close cooperative relationship and ship a number of model batteries for Shangtong Wuling. In addition to Hongguang mini series models, there are Baojun E300P and Wuling Rongguang N300L micro-surface models, and it is expected that new models such as Hongguang mini convertibles will be matched in the future. In addition, Penghui Energy has also entered the power battery supply chain of Changan Automobile, Chery Automobile, Wuling Industry, Guangxi Yuchai and other automobile enterprises.

In the field of light power batteries, on August 25, 2021, Penghui Energy released a full range of new products for two-wheeled and three-wheeled electric vehicles. In terms of capacity planning for two-wheeled batteries (soft bags and large cylinders), Penghui Energy is deploying capacity upgrades in Zhuhai, Henan and Changzhou, with a planned production capacity of 3 million sets in 2021, 6.4 million sets in 2022 and 9 million sets in 2023.

In addition, Penghui Energy previously said that the 40135 electrodeless ear battery is expected to be put into production by the end of September, and the production line is currently in the stage of trial production and commissioning. Customer orders are mainly in the areas of energy storage, low-speed electric vehicles and two-wheelers.

In the field of upstream raw materials, Sichuan Yingda Lithium Power is set up, which is mainly engaged in lithium iron phosphate precursor. It is planned to produce 100000 tons of iron phosphate in the next two years. At present, the production capacity of 20, 000 tons in the first phase is under construction.

In terms of capacity, Oriental Securities analysis said that Penghui energy production capacity planning is abundant, long-term expansion potential is great, by the end of 2021, the company's total production capacity is expected to reach 16.3GWh, of which energy storage battery 5.6GWh, energy storage battery is the company's main expansion direction.

In terms of performance, in the first three quarters of 2021, Penghui Energy achieved revenue of 3.89 billion yuan, up 57.37% over the same period last year; net profit of 164 million yuan, up 16.53% over the same period last year; and deducting non-net profit of 145 million yuan, up 35.10% over the same period last year.
