[SMM News: Luxiao Technology Photovoltaic Power Station Project was damaged by snow disaster and completed all 60 MW grid-connected power generation at the end of March] on December 27, Luxiao Technology issued an announcement that due to the extreme weather and blizzard in Tongliao City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous region, the photovoltaic power stations of Tongliao Technology Co., Ltd., Tongliao Solar Energy Photovoltaic Co., Ltd., and Tongliao Solar Power Photovoltaic Technology Co., Ltd., all collapsed to varying degrees. At present, the company is working with the property insurance department to verify property losses and claims. The company is taking positive measures to restore normal production and operation and control the adverse impact of blizzard weather on the company's production and operation.

On December 27, Luxiao Technology announced that due to the extreme weather and blizzard in Tongliao City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous region, the photovoltaic power stations of Tongliao Solar Energy Photovoltaic Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Luxiao Technology" or "Company") and Tongliao Sunshine Power Photovoltaic Technology Co., Ltd. all collapsed to varying degrees. At present, the company is working with the property insurance department to verify property losses and claims. The company is taking positive measures to restore normal production and operation and minimize the adverse impact of blizzard weather on the company's production and operation.

The disaster area of the company's Tongliao project is about 60 megawatts. After the snowstorm, the company actively started the post-disaster reconstruction work, and some of the affected power stations will be gradually reconnected to the grid through reconstruction and repair. At the same time, Shunyu Jie Neng Technology Co., Ltd. has insured all the assets of the power plant against property all risks, aircraft damage insurance and other huge insurance policies, and the supports and components damaged in the snow disaster are covered and can be paid in full. At present, the insurance company has started the relevant compensation process.

The snowstorm is expected to cause about three months of electricity loss to some of the power stations affected by the disaster, which accounts for a relatively small proportion compared with the overall performance of the company, and the specific amount of loss is still under evaluation.

The extreme weather is force majeure, and the specific amount of loss is still under evaluation. The company is taking positive measures to restore normal production and operation to minimize the adverse impact of blizzard weather on the company's production and operation. The reconstruction part will use the latest photovoltaic power station equipment with less loss and higher operational efficiency, which will help to enhance the revenue of the photovoltaic power station in the next few years. The company will continue to pay attention to the impact of this blizzard on the company and fulfill its information disclosure obligations in a timely manner.

In addition, Dong Mi said that the company has started the repair and reconstruction project of the Tongliao project, and is initially expected to complete 20 megawatts of grid-connected power generation by the end of January, 40 megawatts of grid-connected power generation by the end of February, and 60 megawatts of grid-connected power generation by the end of March!

Affected by this news, today Luxiao Technology opened lower.

Since the beginning of this year, the country has made great efforts to develop the photovoltaic industry. 2021 is the first year of the country's 14th five-year Plan, and it is also the beginning year of "carbon dioxide emissions strive to reach a peak by 2030 and achieve carbon neutralization by 2060". Energy and electricity will change from high-carbon to low-carbon, from fossil energy to clean energy, and new energy sources such as hydrogen storage will usher in opportunities for rapid development. It is reported that the existing Taineng photovoltaic power station of Luxiao Technology is mainly concentrated in North China, distributed in Beijing, Hebei, Shanxi, Shandong, Inner Mongolia, Liaoning and other provinces, cities and autonomous regions, with sufficient light duration. In the first half of 2021, the company generated 409 million kilowatt hours of photovoltaic power, with an operating income of 297 million. The company deeply implements the national "double carbon" goal and continues to invest in photovoltaic power generation business. at present, there are four photovoltaic power plant projects under construction, with an installed capacity of 238.1 megawatts, and the commissioning of this part of the project in the future will also promote the company's business performance to continue to improve.
