According to the latest data from the National Energy Administration, from January to November this year, China's new energy generation reached 1.03557 trillion kilowatt-hours, breaking the 1 trillion kilowatt-hour mark for the first time, an increase of 32.97 percent over the same period last year, accounting for 13.8 percent of the country's electricity consumption from January to November, an increase of 2.14 percent year-on-year. National wind power generation, solar power generation and biomass generation reached 586.67 billion kilowatt hours, 300.9 billion kilowatt hours and 148 billion kilowatt hours respectively, an increase of 40.8 percent, 24.3 percent and 23.4 percent respectively over the same period last year. The contribution of new energy generation to the country's power supply continues to increase.

National Power Industry Statistics released by the National Energy Administration from January to November
On December 17, the National Energy Administration released national power industry statistics from January to November. By the end of November, the country's installed power generation capacity was about 2.32 billion kilowatts, an increase of 9.0 percent over the same period last year. Among them, the installed capacity of wind power is about 300 million kilowatts, an increase of 29 percent over the same period last year; and the installed capacity of solar power is about 290 million kilowatts, an increase of 24.1 percent over the same period
From January to November, the cumulative average utilization of power generation equipment nationwide was 3483 hours, an increase of 87 hours over the same period last year. Of this total, 7102 hours were for nuclear power, an increase of 356 hours over the same period last year, and 2031 hours for wind power, an increase of 119 hours over the same period last year.
From January to November, the country's major power generation enterprises invested 430.6 billion yuan in power supply projects, an increase of 3.6 percent over the same period last year, of which hydropower was 84.8 billion yuan, down 5.1 percent from the same period last year, and solar power generation was 51.3 billion yuan, an increase of 34.9 percent over the same period last year. The Electroweb project completed an investment of 410.2 billion yuan, an increase of 4.1 percent over the same period last year.
