EU Imposes Tariffs on China Aluminium Foil Over Subsidies

The European Union will place tariffs on aluminium foil from China. The levy is based on the anti-dumping measures against Chinese aluminium foil on December 8. The comprehensive tariff is 16.1%-46.7%.

SHANGHAI, Dec 24 (SMM) - The European Union will place tariffs on aluminium foil from China. The levy is based on the anti-dumping measures against Chinese aluminium foil on December 8. The comprehensive tariff is 16.1%-46.7%.

Companies including Nanshan Aluminium, Jiangsu Zhongji, Xiamen Xiashun, etc. will be affected. SMM believes that the imposition of tariffs will have a minor impact on aluminium foil from China.
