Lead Ingot Social Inventory Dropped 3,400 mt over Weekend

The social inventory of lead ingots across Shanghai, Guangdong, Zhejiang, Jiangsu and Tianjin decreased 3,400 mt from December 10 and 5,100 mt from December 13 to 113,900 mt as of December 20.

SHANGHAI, Dec 20 (SMM) – The social inventory of lead ingots across Shanghai, Guangdong, Zhejiang, Jiangsu and Tianjin decreased 3,400 mt from December 10 and 5,100 mt from December 13 to 113,900 mt as of December 20.

Since the enterprises from the lead industry are collecting funds, and most lead ingot holders are destocking inventories at the end of the year, they mostly lowered quotations to discounts. The lead ingot supply is recovering slowly due to environmental protection and maintenance, so the social inventory of lead ingot kept falling.

SMM will continue to track the game of funds collection and destocking.
