Recently, Bao Ti Group Nickel material Co., Ltd. has successfully developed a white copper alloy coil with a width of 1 meter and a unit weight of 4 tons (BFe30-1-1), which has officially opened the domestic application process of high-end white copper alloy strip coil.
In order to change the current situation that white copper strips rely on imports, combined with the demand for this material in a domestic shipbuilding research institute, at the beginning of the year, the nickel and nickel alloy project team decided to set up a project to tackle key technical problems. On the basis of the scientific research achievements of "High quality BFe30-1-1 Plate Development", the technical personnel of Bao Ti Group Nickel material Company have made use of many years of research experience, after repeated demonstration and careful deduction, combined with the advantages of vacuum induction melting and electroslag remelting duplex process after upgrading of 3T electroslag remelting furnace, after a series of technical research. It breaks through the defects such as composition segregation, porosity, inclusion and subcutaneous pores of 5-ton white copper alloy ingots.
At the beginning of September, Baoti Group Nickel material Company, under the guidance of the research institute and the Ministry of Science and Technology of the Group, with the help of the equipment capacity of the wide and thick plate company, adopted independent processing technology to produce white copper alloy slabs that meet the target requirements. At the same time, give full play to the preparation technology of titanium strip company and the equipment strength of 20-roll cold rolling mill, combined with the performance test results of each critical state of white copper material, finally design the hot continuous rolling and cold rolling process parameters of white copper strip coil, avoid the technical risk to the maximum extent, and successfully develop the white copper strip coil of Φ 0.5-0.8 × 1000mm. In order to solve the problem of belt-style on-line heat treatment, the technical staff of Nickel material Company determined the best heat treatment system through scientific demonstration and professional analysis after a large number of heat treatment tests and combined with the sampling results under different systems.
After the heat treatment, the Shipbuilding Research Institute sent special personnel to comprehensively inspect the appearance size, microstructure uniformity, mechanical uniformity, bending properties and corrosion properties of the finished strip. The results show that the properties of the prepared copper strip coil are much higher than those of the GB/T2059-2017 standard, and meet the special requirements of marine materials.
