SMM survey: what kind of metal do you like most in 2022?

Some investors asked on the investor interactive platform: have the company's rare earth products been used in new energy vehicles? If so, which brands of new energy vehicles use the new energy batteries produced by your company?

Oriental Zirconium Industry (002167.SZ) said on the investor interactive platform on December 16 that the company's products involved in rare earths are monazite, a by-product obtained from the separation of heavy minerals mined in Australia. Monazite accounts for about 1% of the weight of heavy minerals, which contains oxides of various rare earth elements. The company does not produce new energy batteries, the company's main products include zirconium oxychloride, zirconium dioxide, fused zirconium, zirconium silicate, composite zirconia, titanium concentrate, zirconia structural ceramics and so on.
