The formulation of two international standards for magnesium alloys in China Aluminum Light Research Alloy has been officially released.

Recently, Zhengzhou Qingyan Alloy Technology Co., Ltd. "hereinafter referred to as" Qingyan Alloy "received good news from the National Nonferrous Metals Standardization Technical Committee, which is the focal point of the industry: the two international standards of magnesium alloy ISO 23694VR 2021" wrought magnesium and magnesium alloy-extruded bar and pipe "and ISO 23700j2021" wrought magnesium and magnesium alloy-rolled plate "were officially released and implemented. It is written in the International Standard drafting Certificate that Zhengzhou Qingyan Alloy Technology Co., Ltd., as a major domestic magnesium alloy manufacturer, provides a large number of samples and data support for standard development and testing.

In the process of drafting and formulating these two standards, light grinding alloy has put forward reasonable suggestions for the draft standard by virtue of rich research and production experience and a large amount of historical data accumulation. it provides a full series of full-size magnesium and magnesium alloy plate, bar, tube analysis samples and key indicators such as mechanical properties, size deviation, inspection standards and results judgment.

Technical standard is not only the commanding height of global technological innovation, but also an important yardstick of independent innovation capability of an enterprise and a country. The implementation of the above two standards has greatly enhanced the international influence and competitiveness of China's intensive processing of high value-added magnesium alloy products, promoted the healthy development of the international magnesium alloy material industry and consumer market, and established an international leading position. The standardization of magnesium alloys in China has been in the forefront of the world, and magnesium alloys have also taken the lead in completing the magnificent turn from "made in China" to "made in China".

Light research alloy, as a national specialized and new "little giant" enterprise, relying on national platforms such as the National Light Metal quality Supervision and Inspection Center and the National Aluminum smelting Engineering and Technology Research Center, light research alloy has been operated by the mixed ownership reform market company from the Metal Materials Institute of Zhengzhou Light Metals Research Institute of Chinalco, with more than 50 years of inheritance and development, relying on the advantages of talents and technology. The high-precision and cutting-edge light alloy products and technologies needed for aerospace research have emerged abruptly based on accumulated strength, and have occupied a leading position in the field of aluminum-magnesium light alloy subdivision.

At present, Light Research Alloy has a full range and full process of ultra-light, high-strength, heat-resistant and reduced-reuse aluminum-magnesium alloy, the world's leading core products and technologies. Key basic materials such as ultra-light magnesium-lithium alloy, aluminum-lithium alloy, magnesium-rare earth alloy, high-performance magnesium alloy, light and high-strength aluminum alloy for weight reduction in aerospace have been developed to realize the localization of key materials for military industry. It ensures the urgent demand for structural weight reduction and enhancement of national aerospace equipment, and magnesium-lithium alloy products reach the strength of metal and the density of plastic, which helps various types of aerospace vehicles soar in the sea of stars.

Light research alloy has always been with the enthusiasm of gratitude to serve the country, to meet the needs of the country, to produce, develop and reserve generation by generation, to develop high-quality aluminum-magnesium alloys and highly processed products, and to provide high-standard technical services.

Silicon Metal Market Review for January and Outlook for February
In January, the silicon metal market experienced a relatively loose supply-demand balance, with a theoretical inventory buildup of approximately 30,000 mt. In February, both supply and demand contracted simultaneously, and the market is expected to show a tight balance or minor destocking. The current high industry inventory still requires time to be digested, and the sustainability of destocking remains a key variable affecting price trends and market sentiment.

A plant in northern China is calling for bids for indium ingots and bismuth ingots
SMM, February 6 - According to SMM’s investigation of market information, a large smelter in northern China began public bidding for a certain quantity of indium ingots and bismuth ingots starting yesterday. Market sources indicate that the starting price for these indium ingots exceeds 4,000 yuan per kilogram, while the starting price for bismuth ingots is above 150,000 yuan per ton. The bidding results are expected to be announced before the Spring Festival. Market participants note that, given the clear trend of sluggish trading activity ahead of the Spring Festival, the timing of this bidding is not ideal. However, the relatively favorable starting prices have generated considerable market anticipation for the outcome of the bidding.
