There are two companies in Kendari base, VDNI has an early project investment of US $927 million with an annual production capacity of 900000 tons, and OSS has a total investment of US $2.5 billion with a design capacity of 2.5 million tons, 30 nickel-iron smelting production lines and supporting steelmaking and continuous casting production lines. North Molovari Base GNI Co., Ltd. is a wholly owned enterprise of Jiangsu Delong Nickel Industry Co., Ltd., this project has been included in Indonesia's national strategic project, with an initial investment of US $1.8 billion and an estimated production capacity of 1.8 million tons of nickel and iron, which officially started production on the 13th of this month. Now Delong Industrial Park has developed into an influential enterprise in the global industry.
Indonesian National Police Chief LISTYO.SIGIT PRABOWO made contributions to the development of Delong Industrial Park and Indonesia, especially the implementation of the employee localization strategy in Indonesia. More than 30, 000 Indonesians were employed in the park, and all the employees in the park had completed the whole process of novel coronavirus vaccination and began to receive enhanced injections.
