The three major A-share indexes rose and fell each other, salt lake lithium extraction rose, the coal sector led the decline [stock market closed]

The afternoon index continued to differentiate, the Prev was weak and volatile, the performance of heavyweights such as brokerages and banks was low, and the gem index rose more than 0.7% at one point. Salt lake lithium plate rose throughout the day; meta-universe concept is strong; HIT battery concept stock is higher. On the whole, individual stocks rose and fell mixed, and the turnover on the Shanghai and Shenzhen stock markets exceeded trillion yuan for the 36th consecutive trading day. High-level popularity stocks are active. Gem new shares psychic shares closed up nearly 60%, intraday trigger stop, Science and Technology Innovation Board new shares Dizhe Pharmaceutical fell more than 20%. On the disk, salt lake lithium, cloud games, metacosmos, HIT batteries and other plates rose in the forefront, while airport shipping, pumped storage, coal, CRO and other plates led the decline. By the close, the Prev index was down 0.18%, the Shenzhen index was down 0.24%, and the gem index was up 0.22%. Heavyweights are strong this week, with the Prev and Shenzhen Composite Index rising 1.63% and 1.47% respectively, and the Shanghai 50 Index up 4.1%. Northbound funds bought more than 9 billion yuan net throughout the day, the eighth consecutive day of net purchases, this week accumulated net purchases reached 48.8 billion yuan, a new high since the opening of Land Stock Exchange.

For the future market trend, institutions have expressed their views.

Zhongyuan Securities believes that on Thursday, the A-share market opened high and rose slightly, inheriting the inertia of the day before yesterday. The stock indexes of the two markets continued to rise under the influence of successive increases in core assets such as wine, consumption, securities, banks and pharmaceutical manufacturing. The Prev hit an intraday high of 3688 points, hitting another recent rebound record, and the overall replenishment of core assets has become the main feature of the recent market operation. It is worth noting that although the stock index continues to rise, the trading volume of the two cities has not been significantly enlarged, and there are no obvious signs of the entry of over-the-counter funds into the market. Whether the Prev can challenge the new highs of the year in the future still needs the continuous promotion of policy, capital and leading hot spots. It is suggested to maintain a cautious and optimistic strategy.

Haitong Securities pointed out that compared with the European and American markets, the current valuation quantile of A shares is still obvious, at the same time, the domestic economic situation is sound and good, RMB safe haven assets continue to rise. Therefore, the consumer sector with more pullbacks this year may have a good performance in the future spring market with the follow-up strong breakthroughs of Shanghai 50 and Shanghai and Shenzhen 300. In the medium to long term, with the continuous advancement of the aging population, we can pay due attention to the companies with better performance in the biomedical sector.

Citic Construction Investment pointed out that the sub-high-end liquor sector shows the following characteristics: Channel inventory is at a historically low level, 2022 light; some high-end and sub-high-end liquor prices rise, breaking market expectations about policy control of liquor prices. raise the future growth expectations of liquor enterprises; December dealers' meeting gradually opened, willing, alcoholic spirits and other exceeded expectations, boosting market sentiment. In December, some wine enterprises have entered the new sales year, and the Q1 payment plan will be gradually clarified. We think that the sub-high-end news has begun, and the layout is timely, with emphasis on alcoholic wine, willing wine industry, Shanxi Fenjiu and Shuijingfang.

[SMM Cobalt Morning Meeting Summary] Weak Demand Drags Down Industry Prices, Market Continues to Consolidate on a Weak Note Ahead of the Holiday
At the beginning of this week, the industry chain remained in the doldrums overall. Refined cobalt prices were temporarily stable, with mainstream smelters maintaining Ex-works prices at 285,000 yuan/mt, but downstream procurement remained mostly just-in-time, and sustained restocking had yet to materialise. Quotes and transactions for intermediate products were scarce, and sales pressure on miners gradually built up. Cobalt sulphate demand was weak, with some recycling enterprises lowering quotes to 57,000–58,000 yuan/mt. Raw material prices and production costs moved down in tandem, and the negative feedback loop in the market continued. Transactions for cobalt chloride and Co3O4 were sluggish, and downstream stockpiling interest ahead of the holiday was insufficient, with demand improvement likely having to wait until November. In the cobalt powder market, downstream purchases continued to be postponed due to high-priced inventory and losses. Ternary cathode precursor prices weakened, and operating rates at some enterprises declined. The decline in ternary cathode material prices slowed, but EV market demand had yet to rebound. The traditional peak season for LCO underperformed expectations, with weakening cost support and sluggish end-user stockpiling, leaving short-term prices still exposed to further downside risk. Going forward, the market will focus on post-holiday procurement recovery, inventory destocking, and actual Q4 orders.

[SMM Cobalt-Lithium Morning Meeting Summary] ### Raw Material Prices Consolidate, Industry Chain Diverges, Pre-Holiday Wait-and-See Sentiment Intensifies
Lithium ore prices remained resilient relative to lithium carbonate this week, with limited selling pressure from the mining side, but salt plant margins continued to be squeezed and acceptance of high-priced raw materials declined. Overseas shipments and domestic supply recovered marginally, though the actual release of incremental volumes still needs time. Lithium carbonate futures rebounded, spot prices edged up, and lithium hydroxide recovered in tandem, but downstream buyers turned cautious after dip-buying, slowing the pace of transactions. Trading in refined cobalt and intermediate products was sluggish, demand for cobalt sulphate, cobalt chloride, and Co3O4 was weak, and destocking pressure persisted. Nickel sulphate remained under pressure, and orders for ternary cathode precursors and ternary cathode materials weakened; LFP production rose and inventory was destocked, while new order prices for iron phosphate edged up. Anode prices were generally stable, separator prices edged up, and the electrolyte market held steady for now. Sodium-ion battery orders concentrated toward leading players, and recycled raw material prices continued to move lower. With the dual holidays approaching, spot order purchases across the industry chain declined, and the market is expected to remain divergent in the short term. In the ESS sector, overseas projects shifted to price negotiations for the coming year, and the cost advantages of large battery cells also pushed some quotes lower.
